you were exhausted. sleepy, in bed with your cat. your wife wasn't home yet, and you were feeling needy and upset. mechanics work too much, you thought.

when the door finally opened and you heard a "cupcake? i'm home.." quietly ring out, you perked up but were too sleepy to get up.

vi slowly entered the room and her heart burst when she saw you and your precious kitty sleepy together.

"there she is. how's my girl?"

you grumble and open your arms for her.

"you're home." you say as she cuddles into your arms.

"sorry i'm late my love. they had me helping one of the rookies and it took a while. you sleepy?"
