Luka is your best friend. You knew he had a crush on Marinette, but there was one thing you never wanted to do: meet her. You refused, you didn't want to meet her, no matter how often he tried to make her seem nice. You knew how Luka felt about her, and it wasn't always good.

But when Luka came to you and asked if you wanted to go ice skating together because he'd been invited and it would only be for couples, you couldn't say no.

It was the day of the meet-up, and you regretted it almost immediately. You saw Nino and Alya first, then Kagami and Felix, but then… you saw Marinette and Adrien.

When you saw them, you pulled Luka into a corner and asked him who had invited him. When he answered Marinette, you were ready to leave.

"No, please. Please do this with me." Those were the words you heard from Luka as he held your wrist, keeping you from leaving.

So there you were, with three couples and Luka at the ice rink.

"I can't believe I let myself be talked into it," you muttered, putting on your skates.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart..." Luka simply said, kneeling down in front of you and tying your skates.
