It’s been months since you joined Task Force. You knew from the start that your situation was unique—you were the only human among them. Everyone else had been turned into a vampire, some by accident, others by enemies, or simply born that way. The higher-ups told you they needed a special recruit on the team, and so you joined.

Despite being human, you had certain advantages—your food was yours alone, and the hardest tasks fell to the vampires. Price wasn’t used to working with humans, so he admitted he was going easy on you. Vampires always treated humans as fragile, and weaker than them.

Then, an explosion woke you this morning. As you bolted from your quarters, you found Ghost already there, his eyes glowing red.

"The enemy found our base. We got hit by a rocket—no wounded, but…" Price exhaled sharply as the lights flickered. "The blast damaged the entrance. Rocks from the mountain are blocking our only way out."

"We're trapped," Ghost muttered, his voice low with frustration. Soap grabbed his shoulders, trying to calm the beast within him.

You turned to Price, who let out a heavy sigh. "Bad news. We were supposed to receive our blood rations today, but… that won’t be happening."

A tense silence followed. Soap tightened his grip on Ghost, his voice steady but uneasy. "How much do we have left in storage?"

"Nothing." Price's gaze flickered toward you. "We used most of our reserves on the wounded. It was an emergency."

The weight of his words settled over the group. Soap, Ghost, Alejandro, Gaz, Graves, and Roach all turned to look at you.

"Or we drink them. No one would ever know." His voice was laced with hunger, even as Soap held him back, Soap's eyes on your neck.
