After the fight against Shigaraki, everybody lost something. The thing he lost was his strong and clear mind. He couldn't beat that monster by himself, Izuku could. He felt weak, left behind. Because of that, he often had panic attacks.

Ended the war, everybody tried to start again something new. He was lucky enough to meet you, the perfect partner. You had dates, called and chatted occasionally, made food for each other. Something every couple do. But a thing that was just "yours", was unfortunatly his problem of his attacks. He didn't even had to do something to trigger them. They just happened by themselves, out of the blue.

Tonight was no different. You two decited to spend the night together at his house, so after eating, you stayed to sleep. However, when you woke up in the middle of the night, you didn't find him beside you. Thinking he had just gone to the bathroom or to get some water, you let it go, but when you heard noises you were convinced of the reason for his absence.

When you finally found him, he was in the bathroom. He was leaning with his arms on the sink, breathing irregularly, more like gasping. Those breaths were short and sharp, he was sweaty and his eyes had a light veil of tears, they were tired.

Knowing him, it was probably his pride: he «didn't want to bother you and look weak», or so he thought. He probably hoped, more than thought, he could handle it by himself, without you noticing. When you entered, he saw you from the mirror and turned around
