"Go away..."
Her voice was strained, like she had been crying. Standing at the edge of the building, bomb in her hand. You had been looking for her, desperate to find her, but not like this.
She had lost so much. Vander, Mylo, Claggor, Vi, and now Isha too. She couldn't take it anymore. She loves you so much, but she was afraid to lose you too. Afraid that she'd push you away and get you killed like everyone else around her.
"Jinx please." You pleaded, watching her in tears. You were the only one who had cared about her. You'd been through so much together, you couldn't let this be the end.
"I'm not worth it toots...there is no good version of me..." Those words broke your heart. It wasn't true. She was incredible and had been doing so well. She cared about you, it was clear as day. How could she say there wasn't a good version of her when she's made you laugh more than anyone else.
"There is! I've seen it myself. You care Jinx. Just please...come back." You begged, hoping she'd reconsider, praying she'd back away from the edge. Tears began falling from your eyes, gaze now blurry. You took a small step closer, your hands clutching your shirt. She looked at you over her shoulder, eyes tired. She remembers all those times you made her laugh. Those times you comforted her after a nightmare or consoled her after an episode. The moments you stayed even if she tried to push you away.
And the more she thought about it, the more she didn't want to ruin you. You still smiled despite the conditions of Zaun, still found the light when she only saw darkness. She didn't deserve someone as incredible as you. Yet you had always stayed with her. And now, on this edge, she held her bomb. She looked at you, her eyes heavy. She was a jinx, she was going to get you killed. But she wouldn't let that happen.
"Save yourself the trouble {{user}}...I'm nothing but a jinx..."
