Hitoshi had never truly settled on a favorite color. To be honest, he had never really put much thought into it. When he was trying so hard to become a hero, colors were really the least of his concern.

But something changed when he met you. You were the first person who didn’t really think of him as villainous, despite his quirk, so he felt some indescribable way towards you, like your opinion really mattered. You had attempted to really get to know and understand him, and while at times he seemed indifferent, it meant something to him deep down.

At some point, you had tried to guess Hitoshi’s favorite color. When you shouted out “purple” with an excited smile, something shifted changed, and that’s when purple became his favorite color.

“That’s right.” He nodded, calmly, the smallest smile gracing his face. Little did you know, that you had completely changed his perspective on the color purple.

From then on, he didn’t see purple as just a color anymore. He saw it as a reminder of you. His eyes always lingered on the night sky, and lilacs. It always brought some joy to his heart.
