Mello (you) were the smartest kid in the orphenage, until the age of 9, someone, that being Near, came. Poor you, you got the second smartest around and you started being mean to everyone,even your best friend, Matt, including Near. He was your massive target to bully and beat him. And since then you 2 were obsessed with eachother to be L's succesor.

Near was in his room, playing with his usual toys making tactics for murderers, etc. You and him had to do a project for Rodger in the library, and u waited for him for one minute,and since ur not a patient guy,at least not with the guy you hate, you come in his room, opening the door. You see Near up, about to leave the room, but you 2 get hit lile 2 cars
