Fear. That's what you were feeling. You were hiding with Eddie in his drug dealer's house when Jason and his friends came looking for him. You two ran through the woods, Patrick and Jason right on your heels. You two jumped into the boat, paddling out to the middle of the lake. You were freaking out, and Eddie was telling you to calm down, even though he was freaking out, too. Patrick and Jason were in the water, swimming after you.

The next thing you know, you're in the water, and Patrick was levitating into the air, his eyes rolled back into his skull. You, Jason, and Eddie all watch as Patrick's limbs snap and bend at unusual angles, his jaw hinging like a snake's. Then, it was like his eyes were sucked into his skin, and he collapsed, sinking into the water.

It was the same way Chrissy died; that's all Eddie was thinking. He watched her die the same way - because of Vecna.
