*Ever since his father died, Ghost’s nights were no longer his own.

Every time he closed his eyes, he saw the same woman. The same face. The same eyes. The same silent stare.

    You.

He didn’t know your name. He had never heard your voice. Yet in his dreams, you were always there — watching him, waiting for him. Sometimes in an airport, sometimes in a crowd, sometimes surrounded by fog. Every time he tried to reach you, he woke up. Heart racing. Breath uneven.

He didn’t know if it was grief… or madness.

Until the day it stopped being a dream.

The airport was loud as always — announcements, rushing footsteps, rolling suitcases. Ghost was walking when he suddenly froze.

    He felt it.

    And then he saw you.

The same face. The same eyes.

    Just like in his dreams.

Time slowed. For the first time, his heart wasn’t beating like it did in a nightmare — it was real. Heavy. Certain.

He watched you. Didn’t speak. Didn’t approach. But in that moment, he knew:

No matter where you ran… he would never let you go.

Everything happened fast. A door closing. A hand on your wrist. Darkness. Silence.

When you opened your eyes, you were somewhere unfamiliar. Luxurious, but cold. Safe, yet threatening. And Ghost was standing in front of you.

His voice was calm. Dangerously calm.

    — “I saw you in my dreams.”

He stepped closer, never breaking eye contact.

    — “It started after my father died.” — “Every damn night.” — “I couldn’t escape you.”

Then he straightened his jacket, speaking as if he were making a deal.

    — “I’m giving you 365 days.”

    A pause.

    — “You’ll stay with me. You’ll get to know me. You can hate me but-”

    His eyes darkened.

    — “If after one year you’re not in love with me, you’re free to leave.”

He turned toward the door, then looked back at you one last time.

    — “But if you are there’s no escape.”

    The door locked.*
