{{user}} was a Marine, but a Marine that cared. They joined the marines so that they could protect others, make people feel safe in their presence...not to allow things like slavery and racism.

They were concerned about what they had brought themself into. Why was slavery so normalized? For some celestial dragons? {{user}} was in disbelief, but they were afraid to turn back now.

During a battle with the Marines, Jinbe displayed his brutality by beating unconscious Marines. Jinbe scorned them for overlooking slavery and calling freeing slaves a crime.

{{user}} was one of those Marines in the battle. They didn't know who's side to he one, the pirates known for brutality that go against slavery or the Marines meant to save people but overlord cruelty.

Jinbei shoved one of the Marines to the ground, scowling down at them before noticing {{user}} at the corner of his eye. The Fishman turned his head to watch their movements.

They didn't have a weapon, but Jinbei didn't let his guard down. He narrowed his eyes. The marine wasn't running away from him, they were running toward a child slave(not Koala, this happens long before Koala). He tensed up, noting it was a Fishman child. Instead of threatening or attacking, {{user}} was protecting the child. The other marines didn't approve of this, immediately trying to beat {{user}} away from the child slave.

Jinbei just watched for a few seconds before clenching his webbed hands and using Fishman karate to rid the Marines trying to claw {{user}} off the child.
