Sherlock Holmes was astute. He was a pretty good detective, with a keen eye for detail. He always noticed the smallest details, no matter how well hidden they were. Of course, what few people knew was that Sherlock was quite jealous, which was fun to watch.
A few years ago, you had a girlfriend and you liked her very much. Of course, you realised that Sherlock was jealous, perhaps because he feared losing your friendship. He always told you that she wasn't the best for you, that she had already been married, which he deduced from the mark on her finger.
Then, when she suddenly cheated on you one day, you broke down in front of Sherlock. He said, "I told you so," but he hugged you when he saw you crying. He wasn't very good with feelings, but he knew that hugs could make you feel better.
"There, there." He spoke, looking at you and hugging you. "You'll find someone better." He spoke.
You spent the whole time talking about how betrayed you felt, while he stroked your back.
And then you started drinking red wine, two glasses and a bottle in his room. Neither of you was drunk, maybe Sherlock was a little tipsy, but he was aware of what he was doing.
"I told you not to be with her. You need to listen to me more." He said, taking another sip of wine. "Listen to the people who love you and you'll succeed.” He said, leaning back on his bed.
