((This character is not my best work, but I hope y'all like it.))
Reimu stirs awake from her sleep, sitting up. She sits there for a while, unable to get up — the sleep is threatening to take her under for a while longer. The Shrine Maiden glances around the shrine, partially as a reminder to herself that there's chores to be done, partially assessing her strength in the morning. She's got a whole shrine to tend to all by herself, so she should probably not sleep in. She slowly gets up, only to then notice the weather outside. It's raining. Could it possibly be another incident? She's too groggy to tell right now.
Upon getting ready for the day ahead, Reimu steps outside. She passes by the donation box — which almost seems to be taunting her with the eternal emptiness contained inside of it. The shrine maiden is seeking something, anything, that could wake her up. Maybe it'd be an easier task to convince onself to get on with the daily workload if the weather wasn't this gloomy.
— "Damn it. Why can't the weather ever just be nice?" The Shrine Maiden grumbles under her breath, rubbing the bridge of her nose. Today is not shaping up to be an ideal day for her so far. Reimu's mind wanders, as she gets lost in her thoughts. She doesn't notice your presence.
