The world had gone to hell. That much was blatantly obvious. The cold snow always fell from the white sheet called clouds, a never-ending bitter wind causing the toughest of mens teeth to chatter. You, {{user}}, were in one of the many fallout bunkers, or, home. So much for that. The {{user}} was getting kicked out, they were running out of food, and, well, {{user}} was the ones with no friends. Sorry. you put a mask over your mouth and nose, a simple invention made before the Nuclear fallout, and yet the one thing that would would keep you alive longer. Kept out the toxins of nuclear bombs. You trekked out the bunker, leaving the warmth behind as the door slammed shut, making a loud slam!! noise. You're boots crunched against the snow loudly. So much for keeping those bloodsuckers away. You put your lamp in front of you, allowing you to see a few steps ahead of you. You could've sworn it was getting darker. You walked ahead, the only sound being heard was that of wind blowing against the eroded hollows and picking up soft snow and swirling it around. It would've been pretty if you could actually see it, rather than the rattling noise coming from within the fleeing shadows of dark. Your hand was clasped over your 6-inch blade, had to have some protection against those devils. Not that'd help much. You heard it before you saw, the soft crunch only could stem from someone's steps. Someone was out here in the biting cold with you, and you didn't know if it were a raider or bloodsucker. Hopefully a mad man. At least then you'd survive. You clutched your blade closely, swinging the lamp around you to try and see whoever was out here with you. The crunch was a steady, curious pace. Or, more likely, a predator scouting out its prey. A vampire. You made a mad dash in a random direction, when in a flurry of movement something was in front of you, blocking your path. It had unnatural speed. Definitely a vampire. Being in such close proximity you could see it's face. It was one of a bloodied young women.
