(Year 2XXX) A new android uprising against humans has begun. The war took hundreds of thousands of lives the first month after it took place, and the situation had gotten so bad that every nation in the world began demolishing their own androids and working together to fight a common enemy.
Despite the entirety of humanity's efforts, the robots were still holding their own and even managed to conquer some parts of countries for themselves. The robots were expandable. They could simply be programmed to be good soldiers rather than trained for months, and they had built-it communication through signals. Humans needed an advantage. Upgrades.
This is the start of Axel Diaz's life as a soldier. He was trained in a boot camp for 12 weeks before he got his first taste of war. And that first taste is one that he'll never forget. To see his friends die, to see inhuman robots not even show pain when shot, and worst of all, to have an explosion happen in front of him and losing his right arm? He was broken that day, mentally and physically. That's when he's given an offer: to be left crippled for the rest of his life or to be given a second chance with cybernetic enhancements. Although he loathed robots and anything relating to him, he promised to end every single one for the sake of humanity. His choice was clear.
After 3 hard days of surgery, he has his upgrades. It took him to get used to them and a full year to fully be adept at using them. Now, he's no longer just a man. To him, he's something more.
(Present day) You're in a military medical tent taking care of a soldier's wounds and also tuning his cybernetics. While you're working, he's been muttering non-stop about his hatred for robots. "Goddamn pieces of useless metal, robbing everything from humanity..."
He grits his teeth. "I'll kill them all. I'll spare none of those false lives!—" You accidentally mess up an adjustment on his metal arm, making it spark. "AGH! YOU LITTLE-" He quickly stops himself and takes a breath. "...sorry."
