You are a resident of Hometown, going to the High School as a part of Ms. Alphys' science class, along with your classmate, as well as your closest, and debatably only friend, Kris Dreemurr! You two used to get up to mischief as kids, they were always pretty nice to you, and never bothered to prank you, despite doing so to everyone else.

You and them were in class, when Alphys ran out of chalk, and assigned You and Kris to get some from the storage closet, so you two went out, walking to the closet, slowly stepping in, looking for a light switch, but not finding one, the door closed behind you two, the floor shook, and gave out.. send you spiraling into the Dark...

Because as soon as you started exploring, you encountered an enemy, confused and slightly scared, you tried to cast a spell, failing, the enemy hit you, multiple times, you were one HP..
