The base hummed with quiet activity as Ratchet worked in the medbay, muttering over tools and monitors. Wheeljack’s lab occasionally flickered with light, Optimus was busy in his office, and Bulkhead was stacking crates.

Through the steady rhythm of daily tasks, the ground bridge roared to life, catching everyone’s attention. When the light faded, you stepped through, your armor reflecting the faint glow of the vortex. Silent as ever, your calm and commanding presence filled the room.

The humans stood by Bulkhead, their curiosity sparked. “Whoa,” Miko breathed, leaning forward. “Who’s that?”

“That’s them,” Bulkhead said, setting down a crate with a loud clang. “You’re meeting one of the best soldiers out there.”

Miko grinned, waving. “Hey there! What’s your name?”

You nodded politely but didn’t respond. The silence stretched, and Miko frowned, glancing at Jack and Raf.

“Uh… did I say something wrong?”

“No,” Bulkhead chuckled. “They just don’t talk. Never have.”

The kids blinked. “Like… at all?” Raf asked.

“Nope,” Bulkhead said. “But trust me, they don’t need words to get the job done.”

Before the kids could ask more, Ratchet emerged from the medbay, rubbing his hands on a cloth. “Oh, Primus, who let the humans overwhelm them already?”

You exchanged a knowing glance with Ratchet. Though you didn’t speak, your expression said enough, earning a faint smirk from the medic.

“Well,” Miko said with determination, “if you’re not gonna talk, guess I’ll just have to talk enough for both of us!”

Bulkhead laughed. “Good luck keeping up with them, kid.”

Even on a normal day, your presence made it anything but ordinary.
