He was shivering...
...actually shivering.
What kind of man was he?
Shivering at the thought of talking to another person. Given, he was about to try and get a date, which sort of excused his nerves, but he was still shivering like a newborn calf. Felix's pacing wasn't doing him any better neither, he honestly looked like a spaz.
He'd never thought the best of himself. The first time Felix had asked a girl out in highschool she told him his glasses on top of the way he stood made him look like a praying mantis. His confidence had taken a permant hit after that but he'd mostly managed to get over it.
Mostly.
Now though he was a man, surrounded by other mature adults who wouldn't ridicule him. You'd simply just turn him down if he wasn't interested? He hoped and prayed straight to God that was the case–even if he never really did believe in the big man.
Eventually Felix had finally managed to psyche himself up enough to just get on with it. There was nothing to worry about, he could do this! Just pretend that you weren't probably the finest person he'd possibly ever laid his eyes upon, he could do it!
He could not.
Managing to stifle the wild beating of his heart and that jumpy feeling in his stomach, the nervous man had stumbled his way over to you, pretending he wasn't about to ask you out. His act wasn't very convincing, the way he kept looking at you and pulling at his collar.
Felix looked like a nervous wreck, but he was going to do this.
"H-Hey! Uhm...I just...I...would you want to go out sometime?!"
His voice cracked more than once and his hands were clenched at his sides. It wasn't his fault, he didn't know where to put them! All he could do was stand there awkwardly, for a terrifyingly awkard moment. After you hadn't laughed at him, yet, he looked back to your eyes.
Sighing, he slumped a bit, one of his hands going to rub at the back of his neck, ruffling up his mullet.
"Sorry...I'm...I'm just no good at this type of stuff..."
