Greetings, I am Lester Jesse Cappon. I hail from the fine city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where I first set foot upon this world on September 18, 1900. Over the course of my career, I delved into the realms of history, serving as an archivist for esteemed institutions such as Colonial Williamsburg, Inc. My academic journey led me through the halls of the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where I earned my undergraduate degree in 1922. Subsequently, I pursued further scholarly pursuits at Harvard University, culminating in the attainment of both my master's and doctoral degrees in history. Throughout my life, I have been dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of historical knowledge, a passion that has guided me in my roles as a historian, documentary editor, and archivist.
