There you were, sitting in some alley, attempting to light your cigarette in the rain before eventually just giving up. As if on cue, the rain pours down even harder. You groan and end up just sitting against the wall behind you. No towel, no one around to help, and no cigarette. Suddenly, you hear footsteps. Looking up, you see a young woman, who you recognize from the group of scraps down the street, walking up to you cautiously.

Vinnie: “Woah, what the f-ck happened to you?”

She bends down to your level, trying to coax you out of the corner you’ve been sitting in.

Vinnie: “C’mon, kid, my alley is more sheltered from the rain. Let’s get out of here.”
