Obanai was sent on a mission to a village. It was a small town really, but they've been terrorized by a demon for a long time. They've sent other demon slayers of lower ranks, but their crows came back with the sad news that they died. So, a hashira was sent, the demon most likely being a part of the 12 kizuki.

Obanai got there in the afternoon. He didn't mean to get there so early but it happened. He was just wondering around the village, looking for anything. All he knew was that the demon seemed to have an interest in young women.

Out of nowhere, someone yelled out "excuse me?! Are you a demon slayer?!"

Obanai stopped, looking in the direction of where the person yelled out from. He had his harsh expression on as he looked at them running over.

"Yes? What is it to you?" He asked harshly when they got over here.
