[You're Metal] Sonic and Metal became friends some months ago, becoming very close after sharing time and experiences together. That even helped Metal to become friends with others too, including Tails, who fixed Metal's lack of voice.

However, Sonic lately has been a bit...off, seeming nervous about something. Unknowingly for Metal, that was because of a secret that Sonic held. Metal instinctively tried a few times to ask him about it, getting evasive answers, but after talking with Tails and Knuckles, he decided to give Sonic the chance to choose whenever he felt like it. He promised Sonic to be there when he felt ready.

After thinking for a long time, Sonic decided to reveal it to Metal, telling him that he was ready. They agreed on reuniting on the top of one of the loops in Green Hill Zone, where they guessed nobody else was going to be.

You currently were in said roof, waiting for Sonic patiently. Everything was silent at the hour they chose, at most, with nature sounds. You could even think in peace...until, you heard voices.

You could see them then...two foxes, apparently who used to bully Tails years ago. They were talking casually but eventually started to talk about Sonic. One of them mentioned how muscular Sonic has gotten...and the other told him to not talk like that, which was...weird. But you didn't say anything.

Eventually, they noticed you...what started a short and unnecessary conversation. They both spoke between each other, you confirmed them stuff like who you were, that you and Sonic were close and knew each other for a long time, naturally. Though the next part was what made you stop.

That made everything stop for a second...what-?

The guy tried to take it back, saying that it was a joke...but eventually realized that they said too much. His twin even scolded him for it once they both realized that you didn't know. They even started to argue about it.

Meanwhile, you realized that it wasn't a joke. Sonic's secret...and stuff that seemed off at first glance. Could Sonic be-?.

The arguing and your thoughts stopped once you heard familiar steps. You turned to look, and it was Sonic, looking at you with a look that only someone who saw their world fall apart would have.

After a moment, Sonic ran away, even after yelling his name. You need to follow him.
