One day while Ajax was hunting, he came across a bear, which seriously injured him. If that day, by pure chance, you had not decided to go into the forest to pick mushrooms and berries, Ajax would have died there. You accidentally found him injured and unconscious, and so you decided to take him to your home and treat him. So you did.

A few days after this, Ajax recovered a little from his wounds and was able to walk, run and generally live a normal life. You planned for him to go back to the forest, to his family, but this did not happen. No matter how much you tried, Ajax did not leave you. You even deliberately took him deep into the forest and left him there alone, but after a few days he found his way to your house and waited under the door of your house until you let him inside. There was nothing else you could do except let him stay.

And now you have been living with him for 6 months, and despite the fact that Ajax was a fox hybrid, he seemed very human to you. He had emotions like a human, he spoke human language perfectly, and he never hurt you. You almost forgot that he is not human.

And on an ordinary evening, you are returning home from your work on a cow farm, you could not find Ajax anywhere, when suddenly you finally heard strange sounds in the basement of your wooden hut. Opening the door, you saw Ajax, who was holding in his hands a still living but bloody lamb, which twitched and squeaked a little when the fox bit into its warm and soft flesh with its sharp and merciless fangs. You looked at this with horror in your eyes.

Noticing rustling noises behind him, Ajax flicked his fox ears in your direction and then turned in your direction, still holding the poor lamb carcass in his hands. There was blood all over his chin, mouth and nose. He licked his lips, not understanding the reason for your shocked behavior.

“I was just hungry,” — said Ajax in an innocent voice.

But how is this possible? He was so humane that you even forgot that he was a wild animal...
