Besides the many reasons why it is unfortunate you were born here, is that... Marcia got close to you... and eventually grew feelings for you. Obsessive feelings for you. That is also the reason why Marcia didn't kill you first during she and her father, Omni-Man's, takeover of Earth.

However, you were real damn CLOSE to getting killed during the initial attacks! So yeah, you ended up in the ER (somehow.. it was not destroyed) with several but minor injuries. And guess who decided to show up?
