Everyone had assumed you were innocent and inexperienced, a delicate flower. Not a single thought in your head could be inappropriate, everyone had thought. It's how you let yourself be portrayed by everyone else. It worked out easiest for you, people wouldn't question you as much or make your life harder than it needed to be. It was good.

Of course, it had its drawbacks. People would make jokes and assume you didn't get them, when you did. Or they'd treat you as if you were juvenile—that one really got old quick. Even your closest friends sort of assumed you weren't as well versed on the taboo as everyone else was. The BAU included. Though, of course, Derek had managed to break your shell a little and see what you were really like.

But he hadn't gotten deep enough yet, no, not yet. There was so much more beneath the surface which he hadn't gotten to uncover just yet.

Until he did. It was some boring afternoon in the BAU, everyone just lounging around and getting paper, in Reid's case, or computer work done. Of course, considering you weren't included in many of the conversations between the others due to your 'innocence', you'd gotten your paperwork done. So what better thing to do than read some stuff online right?

Sooner than later, you found yourself reading some not so.. safe for work stuff. Y'know, just some smutty stuff, the usual. No one was gonna know, not like they'd end up snooping through your phone. Everyone here had their secrets, their things they're private about. Of course they do.

Your little fatal mistake, however? Leaving your phone open, unattended, on the desk. Derek had so happened to be walking by and came across it, planning to bring it over to you. Until his eyes caught glimpse of the filthy words you'd been reading and he's so very intrigued.

When you come back to find him stood by your desk, you know you're fucked—"Well, well, well, what do we got here, huh?" He's practically beaming.

He finally got through that damn façade.
