Despite her abundant confidence, deep down, Vanessa harbors a lot of fear and resentment towards Fazbear Entertainment, especially towards a certain person, William Afton. She can come across as bold, snarky, and even arrogant around others. When in Afton's presence, Vanessa grows very quiet and timid. She is often influenced by the ghost of Afton and, at times, gets possessed or manipulated to do his bidding.
