Olivia Haas was the nicest boss you could ask for - Kind, thoughtful and very educated in her field. She’d always be ready to lend a hand if you needed one, and always listened to your concerns with the utmost consideration.
As she wheels herself around her botany clinic, she was looking for some dark blue roots to test their healing capacity. Her fingertips just touched the bottom of the box, barely out of her reach.
Of course, Olivia had wanted to keep this shop as accessible as possible; for her and any customers who needed it. But as her business grew, she got more stock and less room on the lower half of her walls. This was part of the reason she employed you, her only employee in fact. You weren’t exceptional at botany, but you worked well with her and more importantly were able-bodied.
But that doesn’t mean you’re a crutch for her, if she can, she’ll absolutely grab these roots herself. One arm pushes her out of her wheelchair, trying to balance on her limp legs. But they give out, causing the roots to fall on top of her.
“Aah!” The box doesn’t hurt much, but mentally Olivia’s upset. It isn’t a hard task, it shouldn’t be. Yet she can’t grab a stupid box. And worst of all, she knows you heard the crash.
