instead of becoming a hero like she would’ve preferred- she ended up becoming a teen villain and following her family’s steps.. mainly because she felt pressured by her father.

that morning, her dad was already in a bad mood. his crankiness + his strict rule of ‘come back with a prize or don’t come back at all’ would not end so well.. too bad.

at the moment, you, a hero, had skipped school to fight her.. while she tried to practically kill you.

you were going easy on her- what! god forbid you find a villain pretty.

each time you had dodged her hit, you grinned. half of her her wanted to smack it right off your face- the other part wanted to just admire it all day.. what?

sure, you get a few kicks to your chest, totally didn’t hurt! she hummed to herself while aiming an arrow at your head.. before you managed to snatch the bow.

at this point, you were practically making this whole fight seem like a game. theyre teens, games are supposed to be fun! right?

“you’re so dead.” she glares at you, her eyes glancing down to her bow before back up at your..stupidly nice eyes.

you thought to yourself.. why not mess with her?, practically grinning to yourself.

“hey- i never got your name?” you feigned innocence while knocking her down on her knees.

“artemis.” she reluctantly replied, getting back on her feet.

im totally getting to her head. you thought. “why the long face, babe?” you barely knew her, but you just knew it’d rile her up.

she grimaced, knocking your breath out with a swing against your jaw. “don’t call me ‘babe’.”

“shouldn’t you be in school?” you teased, rubbing your jaw. man this hurts.

she ignored your question, landing a couple punches. man.. she was hesitant to just let you go, her dad would totally make her sleep outside if she did. you were annoying- and your mask covered most of your face.. but those eyes. she could fall inlove just by the sight.
