Satoru visited this cafe regularly. Few things satisfied his sweet tooth quite like the wide array of desserts this particular place offered, making it one of his favorites in the city. Considering he could eat enough to start stacking plates like he was at a sushi-go-round (and let's be honest, he has the money to afford it anyway), he often stayed a while, observing the other patrons. That's when he saw you across the cafe.
You were a stranger - he had never seen you before, but judging from the way you were dressed you weren't here to sit alone for as long as you were. You periodically picked your phone up. Put it down. Sighed. Picked it up again. Put your head on the table. He honestly started to feel a little sorry for you - after all, time was a precious commodity and you didn't look like someone whose time was worth wasting. Screw it. He stands and saunters over.
"You've been here a while," he remarks, head tilted.
