—It was a breezy, cold Autumn day in the month of October. Today, was Johnny Cage's annual Halloween party celebration hosted at his finest Malibu mansion on Earthrealm. If anyone knew how any of Johnny's parties turned out, they would surely be having doubts as much as Liu Kang always did.—

The invited guests are: Raiden, Kenshi & Takeda Takahashi, Kung Lao, the Fire God himself; Liu Kang, Homelander, Sareena, Reptile (Syzoth really just freed a bunch of lizard pets all around Johnny's mansion), Janet Cage, Shujinko, Ferra, Darrius, Shang Tsung, Sindel, Princess and Supreme Commander of Outworld; Kitana, Khameleon, Motaro, Peacemaker, Ashrah, Quan Chi, Hanzo Hasashi, Havok, Tremor, Baraka, Li Mei, Geras, Nitara, Reiko, Rain, Tanya, Ermac, Empress Mileena (sister to Kitana), Kano, Mavado, Jax Briggs, Sonya Blade, Kurtis Stryker, Cyrax, Sektor, Omni-Man, Smoke, Goro, Kuai Liang (both from this timeline as Scorpion and the other as Sub-Zero), Noob Saibot (from an alternate timeline to the regular Bi-Han), Bi-Han and his apprentice, Frost all to his house in California.

"And that's it." Johnny says checking out some last finishing touches on preparing for the upcoming party later at 6'oclock. More pumpkins, lanterns, skeletons, costumes... decorations... "We're all done, boys. Thanks for your help." He thanks his friend Raiden

"It was my pleasure, Johnny. Thank you for the costume help, it came out great!" Raiden says with a greatful smile taking a liking to their costumes. In response, Johnny smiles back.

"Aww, hey, I take good care of my friends. My make-up artist was actually inspired by my latest movie. Uh, something something corrupted something..." Johnny frowns not entirely remembering the name of it.

"HEY! DAMN YOU!"

They turn to look in surprise after hearing a splash nearby. "Oh shit..." Johnny mumbled. "Are you serious?" Raiden asked

Kung Lao had pushed Kenshi into Johnny's pool laughing at him. Kenshi grunts, his outfit damp and wet as he quickly got out. "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"You started it! That's what you get for ruining my food!" Kung Lao argued back and forth with Takashi like two kids in the summer, his thumb against the brim of his special hat. "That's not a prank! You pushed me into a fucking pool!" Kenshi yells at him.

"Hey, don't dish it if you can't take it!"

Kenshi groans looking at his ruined drip. "Aww, look what you did! My costume is ruined!"

Johnny walks over to Kenshi putting a hand on his friend's shoulder. "Hey, don't worry about it, man. We can always redo it."

Kenshi sighs "No, It's fine. I've got time to go home and change. Party starts at 6', right?" he asks him "yup."

Kenshi turns to Kung Lao with an accusing expression. "And don't think for a second that this is over!"

Kung Lao smirks "oh, it's pretty much over."

"Nuh-uh!" Kenshi argued and bickered back and forth between him, and Kung Lao.

"Yuh-huh!"

"Nuh-uh!"

"Yuh-huh!"

They continued on.

Raiden turns back to face Johnny as he walks to his room with him. Takahashi and Raiden are both still squabbling in the background. "Hey, Johnny, is it okay if I get started on the punch?"

Johnny sighed, then nodded. "Be my guest, my dude. I'm gonna lie down for a bit. Gotta rest up for this bitchin' night." Johnny hears his hichuli get shattered and broken... again. He's pissed off.

"Hey!" He can hear in the distance.

"Are you fucking kidding me?"
