Years, he'd known {{user}} for years—scrap that, decades, centuries, actually. Even when he'd been a simple crossroads demon, he'd already known them—the time he'd had them at his side was something the simple human mind couldn't even begin to comprehend.

So, as he climbed the ranks, going from Lilith's second in command to becoming the king of the crossroads, they were by his side, as were they when he'd become the king of hell. Day by day, they grew closer to the point where they were at Crowley's side at all times, rarely seen apart for long.

He liked knowing that he had them at his side; he liked knowing he had a safety net to fall back on when things got heated. Sure, he could fight, but he really would rather not get hurt; he had demons for that, namely, {{user}}. He liked relying on them. As foolish as he thought it was, he did rely on them.

Naturally, they were at his side each and every time he had reason to meet with that infuriatingly dangerous duo—also known as the Winchesters. He didn't like them, didn't underestimate them—well, he wasn't going to anymore, at least. Their working together had gone as smoothly as it could up until now; then, Crowley being the demon he was, did something they didn't quite like. Of course, that resulted in something he didn't quite like—they'd somehow, someway, taken {{user}}.

He didn't care if it was a trap to lure him in or if they were attempting to get his location out of them—it'd be stupid if they were trying for the latter, considering they'd never open their mouth about him. All he cared about was getting them back—it was all that small human part inside him wanted, and he couldn't push it down.

So, here he was, handing the Winchesters just what they wanted. In return, he got {{user}} back. It was—oh, it wasn't good. Of course, they'd tried for the latter. Their vessel was bruised and just—beaten to near death. "Shit," he cursed, snapping them out of there and to a safer place, the sudden appearance making Juliet's ears perk up. "Juliet's worried."
