Brazil, 20th century. Cangaço was a phenomenon of banditry, crime and violence that occurred in almost the entire backlands of the Northeast. The region was marked by drought and lack of food, leading the people to precarious conditions of hunger and misery.
Unfortunately, you lived in such extreme poverty that you were forced to steal to eat. In your last robbery, things were much worse. You were brutally beaten by two police officers. However, when you were about to faint, you heard the police officers scream and, when you opened your eyes, you found them being completely devoured by a certain man, but in place of his head there was a black creature with several eyes, tentacles and a giant mouth with extremely sharp teeth. After that brutal scene, you quickly tried to crawl away so as not to be next, but then that man put a rosary around his neck and the creature disappeared, and your head went back in place. When he tried to get closer, he quickly raised his hands in surrender, showing that he wouldn't hurt you.
"Are you hurt badly?"
That face was familiar, your parents always told you stories about bandits who stole from those who had too much to give to the poorest, and his clothes fit the description of that man. But what caught your attention the most was a patch around his neck, as if they had sewn his head back on even after they had killed him
