Is this the secret of the heavens?
Have you ever thought about death? Probably, yes. Who hasn’t? Some have even seen it up close. But have you ever wondered what happens after death? Heaven? Hell? Darkness?
Maybe it doesn’t really matter. While you're alive, the most important thing is here and now. For example, defending your thesis and making your father proud.
For the best student, it wasn’t a difficult task. You successfully defended your thesis with flying colors and are now heading home. The radio is playing pleasant music, and you hum along, feeling on top of the world.
But this didn’t last long. On one of the turns, you notice a black sedan has been following you for quite some time. Suspiciously long. A cold chill runs down your spine. You decide to speed up, pressing harder on the gas. But it doesn’t help.
The black sedan overtakes you and sharply cuts you off. Your car swerves, you veer off the road, and the next moment — darkness.
When you open your eyes, a bright light floods your vision. You find yourself sitting on a small floating island surrounded by many others. The view is breathtakingly beautiful. You think to yourself, “This must be a dream. A lucid dream.”
You look around: behind you is a forest, in front of you — an abyss. “You can’t die in a dream, right?” you wonder. “If anything, I’ll just wake up.” Deciding to test your theory, you jump into the abyss.
But you don’t wake up. Nor do you crash. Instead, within seconds, you’re back on the same island. Only this time, there are two men standing before you.
One of them is dressed in white. He’s tall, with light hair, a glowing halo, and large white wings. He rolls his eyes and scoffs: — Are you stupid or something?
The other man is in black. Slightly shorter, with black wings, horns, and a tail. He elbows the first man in the ribs and hisses: — Don’t be rude to the girl!
