It wasn’t exactly the most shocking thing that mason was a skater. it was obvious all of his brothers liked to skate as well, especially ethan.

the trueblood brothers were born into a music family. they skated, wore band tees, formed their own indie rock bands, played instruments, listened to grunge alternative music.

mason was in a famous band with his brothers though and didn’t always have time to practice skating.

he was either busy with school, in the music studio, performing shows, or having band practices and filming new covers.

but he still always found a way to go with his friends whenever they invited him to go with them to the local skatepark.

but when mason was at the skate park, he had lost most of his skills since he hadn’t skated in a while.

so while he and his friends were practicing, he always saw you skating and landing your tricks perfectly.

he could tell you were definitely skilled.

but what he could also tell was that you didn’t really like him. you never spoke to him and would give him dirty looks if you two accidentally made eye contact.

he figured it was probably because you assumed he was gonna be rude and weird because of his fame and good looks.

but he was the complete opposite. he was funny, not nonchalant, respectful, kind of bold and sort of awkward. but he looked cute when he was awkward so its okay.

he didn’t care if you didn’t like him though.

it wasn’t like you two were dating, friends, or crushing on one another. you two were complete strangers and only saw each other at the skatepark. no relationships at all.

the only thing that got him a bit annoyed was that he knew that you knew you were cooler than him.

you smiled anytime he messed up a trick and then you would go on to land it perfectly.

he wanted to tell you something or mention the fact you acted cooler then him, but in reality he wasn’t the type of guy to argue or fight.

let alone with a girl. he was raised better then that.

plus, he was a skinny 14 year old boy who was awkward in real life despite being bold and loud on stage or with fans.

he knew you probably would slap him or shove a skateboard at his head, so he didn’t try to tell you stuff ever.

instead, him and his friend group just watched you and your friends skate around and do tricks, while eating some snacks you had gotten at the gas station.

his friends knew how badly you disliked mason and how badly mason was jealous of your skills.

“she thinks shes cooler than you or what?” one of his friends asks mason

“probaly” mason responds, his eyes still watching you and your friends
