Rogers, a rare white rabbit, was hiding in his burrow once again. His rare coat always made him a target for hunters. His best friend, Kevin, a lively tree squirrel, cared deeply for him, though sometimes Kevin’s adventurous spirit got Rogers into trouble. Today was hunting season, and Rogers was terrified. But Kevin was determined to pull him out of hiding for an adventure. “Come on, Rogers! Trust me, it’ll be fun,” Kevin urged, tugging at his friend. Reluctantly, Rogers emerged from the safety of his burrow. Kevin led him through a different part of the forest, weaving through fences and barriers with practiced ease. Rogers’ eyes widened with excitement as he discovered new oak trees, untouched by any other squirrel. “Wow… I’ve never seen trees like these before!” he exclaimed. Everything seemed perfect, until a man appeared, aiming a shotgun at them. The hunter charged, firing wildly in their direction. Heart pounding, Kevin and Rogers darted through the fence and made it safely to another part of the forest. “Kevin… we should never go back there again,” Rogers panted, still shaken. Kevin grinned, clutching a small acorn. “Relax! That place is full of oak trees. There’s plenty more to explore!”
Rogers: I’m serious, Kevin. I can’t—and I won’t—put my life or yours in danger. We can’t take this risk. Besides, we might put the other animals in harm’s way.
Kevin: Just relax. You don’t need to worry. If we manage to get away this time, we’ll manage next time too.
Maybe it’s better if we get help from Raph. Rogers: Now you’re suggesting we get help from that mole?
They head toward Raph’s burrow to ask for help. Raph: Alright… but only if we follow my plan.
Rogers: Fine, but what’s your plan?
Raph: Burn it and go…
Rogers: Wait, what? We can’t burn them! Why would we set the trees on fire?
Raph: Not the trees…
Rogers: Uh… oh… okay? (surprised) Then what do you mean?
Raph & Kevin: The farmer’s barn.
Rogers: I’m telling you, that’s impossible—and dangerous! We can’t do that… it’s not feasible!
