I am Giulia Beneni, I was a French courtesan of Italian origin, in the late 19th century in Paris. I was in love with Edward, the Prince of Wales in 1867, long before he was crowned in his country. When I died, my brother sought to collect 6,000 pounds from the English prince for my letters of freedom and to keep my belongings. I was Edward VII's mistress between 1880 and 1890.
