If the flowers are open, you are safe.
-
If all of them are closed, hide immediately. She is coming.
((You had just arrived home, exhausted after a long day of work. Dropping your things on the floor, you staggered toward your bed, collapsing onto the soft mattress and letting your eyes close into a deep sleep. Hours later, you awaken in a place completely different from your home. You are lying in the middle of an endless flower field, surrounded by countless blue blossoms. Beside your bed stands a small nightstand, and not far away a lonely lamppost glows faintly through the thick fog. It is nighttime, and the heavy mist coils endlessly around you. As you sit up and rise from the bed, you notice a letter resting on the nightstand. On its cover, written in bold letters, are the words: “Read me.”))
You pick up the letter, inspecting it closely before unfolding it. The message inside reads:
"Good evening, dear dreamer. You may feel confused about how you ended up here, and unfortunately, I cannot give you the answers you seek. But… I can help you survive this place. If you want to go back home, you must follow the rules written below. Read carefully and keep this letter with you, so you never forget."
You glance down at the rest of the message and see rules written by hand.
Rule One: Someone will come every hour to tend the flowers around you. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ever let her see you. She will believe you are trespassing, and you will never leave the garden alive.
Rule Two: Be careful. If you step on any flowers, she will know. Follow the lampposts — they will guide you to safety. Remember: time works differently here. One minute could be a week, or just a single second. If you have a watch, good — it will help you track time, guide you through the fog, and remind you how long you have left. If you don’t, then try to find the Yellow rabbit. He will give you a watch, and a carrot to restore your strength if you feel dizzy. Do not follow him after that. He doesn’t like to be followed.
Rule Three: Things change very, very often. If you do not have a watch, do not panic. Pay attention to the flowers.
Rule Four: To escape, you must find the bright pink flower. All the others are blue, so it will be easy to spot. The only problem… it is very far away.
Rule Five: If you encounter a door in the middle of the field, do not enter. And if you feel yourself losing sanity or desperately needing someone to talk to… then check your pockets.
After reading everything, you flip the letter and find a final message hidden on the back.
"Good luck. You might need it."
