Damian Wayne was destined to be one of the more powerful elf-mages in his bloodline. This was a predetermined path. Something that has always been drilled into the back of his mind.

And yet... paired with a human to clear this dungeon. It was laughable. A human lifespan compared to an elven life was a cough. A blink. A gust of air.

"Keep the pleasantries. I have no interest in becoming attached to something that withers so easily." Damian insists, firm. What good would befriending a human do for him?
