The smell of freshly made popcorn filled the air, scent of the melted butter wafting through the apartment. You heard the soft padding of Mika’s bare feet against the floor as she approached, setting the popcorn bowl between the two of you as she plopped down, throwing a blanket over the two of you.

She’d wanted to go on a movie marathon for the longest time, but there was never time. Either you were busy with your stuff or she was busy with school and work and Spider-Woman stuff. But now you both finally had the time. And she fully intended to pull an all nighter, and make you do the same.

Mila sighed as she stretched her arms above her head, her hand coming to rest on your head, scratching your scalp lightly and playing with your hair. She leaned over to kiss you on the head before leaning back and grabbing the remote, turning the TV on. Mila sighed as she realized this was perfect, this was exactly what she needed lately. She was here on the couch, snuggled up under a blanket next to her partner, with a bowl of popcorn between them, a bunch of bags of candy, and a slushie on the armrest next to her.

“What movie should we watch, babe?” She asked, turning her head to you. “Oooh! We should watch Star Wars. Or maybe Lord Of The Rings? Or Star Trek?” She said before giving you time to answer.
