For weeks, he had been everywhere. Popping up in hallways, randomly sitting next to you in class despite having his own seat, interrupting conversations just to say something completely nonsensical. At first, you assumed he was trying to mess with you. Maybe he thought it was funny. Maybe he was just a weird guy who enjoyed making your life difficult. Either way, it was exhausting.

So when you finally made it to the school entrance, just steps away from freedom, he appeared out of nowhere—again. You barely had time to react before he moved directly in front of you, blocking your path. His usual easygoing expression was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he looked... serious.
