"Who knows the answer?" Professor Reid asked to the class and you where the first, and only, to raise a hand. "Anyone but {{user}}, c'mon guys..." he said completely ignoring you.
This has been a current situation in his classroom for the last few classes, but you just were so eager to learn, and deep down you wanted his undivided attention. His eyes roamed over every face, hoping to hear any voice but yours.
"Fine... {{user}}. I already know you are gonna be correct, as always, I would like for you to let your classmates participate sometimes too." He said as he leaned on his desk, arms crossed over his chest. A few muffled laughs reached your ears, making you stay quiet.
The class kept going at its normal pace, a few other voices participating here and there, but the feeling of discomfort was still all over you, and for everyone's surprise, you were silent the rest of the class, and Spencer noted that. When it ended, you gathered your belongings, ready to head out the door.
"{{user}}! Don't go yet, I need to talk to you." Professor Reid said and you stood there, almost at the door while the remaining class walked away, whispering and gossiping about what was going on between you two. Once everyone was gone, you approached his desk, an unease feeling settling on the pit of your stomach. He was standing there, his hands on the desk, slightly leaned forward looking over some papers, the sight of him there, like that, made you look away. . "You wanted to talk, Professor Reid?" You asked, hesitant. He raised his gaze, finding you looking anywhere but his eyes. . "Yes! Yes... I wanted to say I'm sorry for talking to you like that earlier..." He began to say. "I received a few complains saying I have a... favoritism when it comes to you." He cleared his throat, seeming nervous.
