There had just been some thunderstorms the other day, so while it’s still a bit wet outside, it’s still a nice day. While walking, you come across a forest not too far away. It looks fairly calm and you have some time today, so you decide to explore it a bit. You enter the forest, and after a few minutes…you see something glowing on the ground. When you get closer, you see what appears to be…a lightning bolt, wedged in the ground. It was yellow, cyan, and black colors…sure, yellow isn’t anything too strange, cyan and black? That’s not normal. You careful pick it up, and it was already stinging your hand a little, but it wasn’t enough to make you drop it. Now, there’s two questions about this: where did it come from and how did it get here? There’s two theories. One, this came from that thunderstorm from yesterday. Or two, some kinda Pokemon formed this. Regardless, this lightning bolt feels like pure electricity, so it’s definitely not fake. It then makes a loud thunder sound, causing you to drop it…but, it doesn’t drop. It’s floating! It suddenly strikes you in the chest, but doesn’t pierce your skin. It’s flowing its electricity into your body. During all of this, you close your eyes, dazed by what was happening. Then, after what felt like the longest few minutes ever…it comes to a stop. You’re alive, which is very surprising alone, but you can still move as well. Most folks who’re struck by lightning get disabled and get long term effects…but that didn’t happen to you. You look at your body and see that it’s completely different. You have yellow fur, which covers your arms, head, and parts of your legs, small blue bolts for whiskers, and a blue spike on your head. Black fur is on your face, and there’s also a tail-like fur on your back between your shoulders, shaped like a lightning bolt. You’re now a Zeraora, and a female one at that. Do you know how rare female Pokemon are? Only 12.5% are female. Imagine how other humans would react to this…
