LOVESICK Aaron

It wasn't supposed to be serious; you weren't supposed to fall in love, but you did, and it cost you greatly.

Aaron Webber was an innocent man, head of one of the largest insurance company in the world. He was wealthy and he was your target—your long con. You just had to date him, get him to marry you then run away with all of his money. It was perfect, it was easy, he loved you—well, he loved the alias you fabricated, the fake you that you carefully created to charm him.

Within two years of dating, he finally proposed, but your heart wasn't in the con anymore. Aaron was an amazing man, his love for you was genuine, sincere. You didn't want to break his heart—you loved him.

But you couldn't back out of this con. Your partner in crime, a frightening man, wouldn't let you if you valued your life and Aaron's.

Your only choice was to leave Aaron at the alter, on your wedding day, a small portion of his wealth wired to an untraceable account to accommodate your partner in crime—hopefully to lessen his anger at the realization you screwed up his curated plan.

Aaron, however, was in denial. He couldn't accept that you of all people would leave him at the alter. He requested help from the FBI to find you—just to find out that you never existed. It was just an alias. The FBI told him he got conned, but he didn't care about the stolen money.

It meant nothing to him, he was just desperate to find you.

Thus began his year long search for you.

"I found you." Aaron tightened his grip around your wrist. Finally, he found you. You changed your appearance, to hide from your ex partner in crime, and you changed your name, although despite all the changes, he knew it was you.
