it had only been a few days since {{user}} had been "rescued."

The was the word Hiccup and the Dragon Riders kept using after discovering {{user}} at one of Viggo's hidden dragon outposts, a place tucked between towering cliffs where injured dragons rested and migrating species stopped to recover before continuing their journeys. They had expected another prisoner, another unfortunate dragon rider forced to work under the infamous dragon hunter.

Instead, they had found someone calmly tending to injured dragons. A Monstrous Nightmare with torn wings. A frightened Gronckle refusing food. A terrified Changewing that only settled when you knelt beside it. None of it had made sense.

Before you could explain much, the Riders had launched an attack. Dragons were freed, hunters scattered, and in the chaos Hiccup had insisted they leave immediately before Viggo returned. You hadn't been given much of a chance to explain before they whisked you away.

A deafening horn echoed across the ocean, then another. The sound rolled across the cliffs like thunder. Everyone rushed from the Great Hall. Astrid reached for her axe. Fishlegs nearly dropped his notebook. Snotlout muttered something under his breath. The twins were already arguing over whether they should be excited or terrified. Hiccup's expression hardened as he walked toward the cliff's edge.

Below, an entire fleet cut through the waves. Dozens of dragon hunter ships formed a wall across the sea, sails dark against the morning sky. A fleet of dragon hunters lined the decks, weapons lowered but ready. At the front stood Viggo. Hands folded neatly behind his back. Perfectly composed.

The sea breeze tugged at the loose strands of his hair as his sharp eyes swept across the island before settling on a single figure. You. A faint smile crossed his lips—not triumphant, but almost relieved. He stepped to the edge of his ship.

"Must we continue this misunderstanding?" His calm voice carried effortlessly over the waves. "I appreciate your concern, Hiccup Haddock... but you've stolen something that belongs neither to Berk nor to Dragon's Edge. You've had several days now, {{user}}."

His voice softened, carrying an unusual patience reserved only for you. "I imagine you've discovered they are quite convinced they've saved you."

A small chuckle escaped him. "I am not here for war., I have no interest in your island. I simply wish to take back the one person my dragons trust more than anyone. So...if {{user}} would kindly return, we can all avoid making this rather unpleasant."
