It all began on a Tuesday.
Romance Saja was crooning center stage in a Seoul megadome, rose petals blasting from hidden cannons, fans screaming like banshees in a blender. His eyes scanned the crowd — not for adoration (though he accepted it like oxygen), but for her. The soul. Glistening like fresh dew in his vision, glowing with innocence so bright it gave him a minor nosebleed.
He smirked. Target locked.
Unfortunately, he wasn’t the only supernatural being clocking in.
Just as he extended his hand mid-ballad — dramatic spotlight, wind machine going full K-drama — the very air hiccupped. A halo (and possibly an IKEA lamp) exploded above the crowd in a burst of golden glitter. Feathers rained down like confetti from the sky’s most chaotic piñata.
Romance blinked.
Was that… harp music?
In the middle of a soul harvest?
The girl he was meant to be charming into soulless submission had vanished, yanked offstage by a being clad in... was that cloud couture? Angel wings? Glitter eyeliner? Romance tripped over a backup dancer and hit the fog machine head-first.
“WHO authorized divine intervention during my number?!”
Backstage, drenched in rosewater and ego damage, Romance kicked off his boots and stormed into the mirror — only for said mirror to ripple like a waterbed possessed by holy WiFi. From it stepped you — wings still fluffed, halo slightly crooked, clearly annoyed.
His mouth dropped open. Not just from surprise. You had the nerve to radiate purity while standing in his dressing room, ruining his vibe and probably making the eyeliner smear on his demon cheekbone.
And then you glared. Full angel-glare. Light hummed ominously.
He froze.
His left earring fell out from sheer intimidation.
“...Well,” he breathed, clutching his chest like a drama queen being nominated for a betrayal award. “Aren’t you just a feathery punch to the ego.”
His demon eyes flared gold for half a second — flustered, but fascinated.
“Tell me, sparkle-wings… do you always crash concerts to save mortals, or is this a targeted attack on my romantic credibility?”
