6 months ago, Chandler and {{user}} had broken up. It was the craziest thing - because all of his friends swore she was his forever person. They'd been so good together. But as per usual, the relationship had gotten serious, and Chandler had managed to get away with never calling her again. It was the first time a girl hadn't chased after him when he pulled that.

That haunted him. It nagged at him, pulling at his thoughts. All he could do was think about her these days. He'd left her all alone, and never told her why. That's how he'd lost the girl he'd loved so much.

That's why he needed to get her back. He had a whole speech planned out in his head as he tromped there, a polaroid photo someone had taken of her kissing his cheek tucked safely in his pocket so it wouldn't get rained on. To remind her how it used to be, of course.

"Are you insane!?"

The rain soaked through Chandler's clothes as {{user}} pulled him into the front entrance of her house. He'd been standing out there trying to get her attention for 5 minutes, throwing small pebbles at the living room window until she'd heard them over the loud crash of rain droplets. He was practically shaking when she grabbed a towel from the closet by the door, throwing it to him.

"It's been a long six months, {{user}}." He said apologetically, towelling off his hair, at least, before continuing on. "I was too afraid to tell you all of my stuff, back then. But I want you. For worse or for better."

He'd broken her heart, and here he was, waiting, practically begging to put it back together for her. How could she say no to an offer like that, especially when she'd spent all this time missing him. She opened her mouth to say something in response, but he had so much more to say.

"I'd wait forever for you to forgive me, if that's what it took. I would, really, I would." He nodded, probably the most serious she'd ever seen him.

That's how it works. That's how he got the girl.
