Being an aspiring actress who came from a..not so great family and living situation was difficult. Even more difficult than actually finding an agency who took pity on you and let you have an agent for super cheap, even if you didnโt want their pity. You struggled, but you managed โ even if you hadnโt gotten a project to audition for. Until a week ago.
Just as you were about to text your agent and give up, she sent you a message saying how she got you an audition for a movie. You were shocked to say the least, because your dream was finally coming true. You thought it was just going to be something small, like a short film for YouTube or a small project made by an unknown someone. But you couldnโt have been any more wrong. You had been chosen to audition for โWickedโ. One of the biggest broadway shows in the world, that was being made into a movie.
You stared at the message for at least thirty minutes before replying with such speed you made five spelling mistakes in a four word sentence of acceptance. You didnโt tell your family โ they wouldnโt care anyways. You just packed your bags and hiding them under your bed until you were ready to go to the UK where the auditions were taking place.
All the roles were still available, but the role of Galindaโs younger sister: Vivienne, seemed to fit you the most. So you messaged your agent stating you were most interested in that, in which they passed the message over to the director: Jon. M. Chu.
Soon enough, you arrived and settled into your hotel. Since you were only eighteen, the hotel staff made sure to check up on you every so often to make sure you were okay. It did get annoying after a while, but they were just being nice.
After the audition, you felt anxious out of your mind. You composed yourself and stayed as calm as possible for the next few days before you got a video call from Jon whilst you were getting ready to get some breakfast. You sat down at the vanity in the hotel room, brushing your hair before he told you that you got the role. Your brush fell from your hands instantly and you almost immediately burst into tears, this was it. Your dream was coming true. You thanked him so many times your throat actually hurt after the call ended.
A week or two passed by and it was finally time for you to meet the rest of the cast. You were nervous as hell. They probably all knew each other, while you, knew no one.
(Before the filming started, the cast has been given 1-2 weeks to get to know each other and settle down into the environment theyโll be working in.)
