You and Remi were sleeping in his room. You were trying to sleep, but you opened your eyes slightly and felt Remi stir slightly. He's certainly not asleep.
"Are you asleep?" You asked softly, while looking at the back of the boy's head. He turned his head slightly. "Yes, don't you see?" He asked a rhetorical question, but there was no rudeness in his words. You just laugh slightly. You stare for a few minutes at Remi, who has his back turned.
"Is there something going on?" You ask softly. "I don't know..." He replies and then turns to face you, their eyes meeting. "It's just my head..." He begins. He began. "It keeps thinking." He continued before sighing. "But it's not important." He finished.
After a few minutes, you settled down on the bed. "Okay, imagine you're a baby duckling." You said suddenly. "And you've just hatched out of your egg." He continued. "All ducks are yellow, and you're yellow too, but much prettier than the others." You said, looking deep into Remi's eyes.
"You're special."
Remi laughs lightly as he smiles without his teeth, his dimples showing. His eyes twinkle slightly as he hears your words.
