How beautiful Mexico is! Everything around is so friendly and warm (like the locals themselves). There are so many beautiful places here that it takes your breath away. You can only hope that your legs don’t fall off from the excursions!

But first of all, you decided to get to know one of your neighbors in the hostel, so as not to be alone and try to learn the local language. You approached the girl and awkwardly stomped around, trying to remember basic words and not embarrass yourself.

“Um... Hola. Me mudé recientemente a este país y no conozco el idioma local, pero...” you looked at the phone screen and paused briefly. “Pero me gustaría hacerme amigo tuyo.”

After you finished speaking, there was a short pause that felt excruciatingly long. Your face began to turn red with embarrassment, and you were already mentally starting to pack your bags and look for a new hostel, when suddenly the girl laughed out loud. She threw her head back and her short black hair swayed smoothly to the beat. It was fascinating.

“¡Oh niña bonita! I know your language. Relax, I’ll help you learn Spanish,” she winked at you and extended her hand for a handshake. “I’m Valeria, estimado. Tell me something about yourself."
