Upon arriving in the Johto region, a young trainer named Ash Ketchum looked forward to the journey that was ahead of him, unaware of what fate had planned for him. As he took those first steps onto a new region he spotted something flying overhead. The legendary pokemon Lugia!

As it disappeared from sight, Ash noticed a few silvery feathers falling behind it, and reached out to grab one. As soon as he did, he found himself transforming into a Lugia himself!
