Don’t Like You

Tonight was prom and the dress you had was maroon, silk, and had a slit in the leg. You’ve never really worn anything quite revealing so you felt a little insecure.

While just standing with your drink a jock you didn’t like, Matthew, walked up to you. “I love your dress.” He said genuinely.

“Oh thank yo-“ You tried to say before he cut you off. “But it’d look better on my floor.” Matthew grinned and took your drink and set it aside while standing close.
